To this day, I’m still not sure which is more embarrassing.

This was really a great story, Katherine Deane once again delivered a fun, sexy story with realistic characters and wonderful dialogue. I loved the "dancing with the stars" take-off.
You definately want to add this book to your TBR shelf.

On Valentine Day, Macy, is shocked to find her cheating husband in bed with another women.
She is insecure about the way she looks. She feels overweight and thinks she is frigid until she meets Dane.
Dane is her Dom. Will Dane help her with her insecurities?
This is a very well written exotic book. I could not put the book down.
I would recommend this book to all my friends.
This book is one of the best I have read so far this year. It very sexy and highly intimidating. Dane is one hell of a dominant, and knows how to show his naughty little girl how sexy she really is. Not every woman is skinny a lot of us are curvy, but it is nice to have a man show you just how sexy and alluring you really are.
I really enjoy Katherine Deane's stories, and this one was no exception. I adored, ADORED, Dane. He was so patient with Macy and his attraction to her made me tingle too. He immediately is drawn to her, and the reader is too.
Macy is a strong woman and plus sized. I love curves on heroine, but she had so many insecurities. It does make her more believable as a character - everyone has something about his/herself which bothers them. Their eyes are brown instead of blue. They have wide hips or no bottom, ect. But some readers may find it distracting.
I loved the dancing aspect as well as their intimate moments. Lots of sex and spankings for an overall yummy read. I can't wait to see what Ms. Deane comes out with next!
I have never read this author before and when I saw the title and blurb, I was intrigued. I bought it and then sat down to read. Was totally surprised when I realized I had read it cover to cover without stopping. I loved the different points of view and of course my HEA! It was a short but sexy read!
I enjoyed this story that was a novella that appeared as part of the Bound, Spanked and Loved Fourteen Kinky Valentine's Day Stories. The story revolves mainly around two main characters, Macy, a woman who had a cheating husband, lost her job, makes lots of lists and is considered overweight and not what one would find a dance partner. Then you have the sexy, dominant, in control Dane; he knows what he wants when he sees it.
In a last-ditch effort to help save a small cable station brings out the brilliant idea of putting on a dancing show with real everyday, ordinary people, teachers, firefighters, etc. and pairing them up with professional dancers. Dane sees something unique and special when Macy shows up for try outs, even with her tripping onto the stage and he insists she is included, along with a soldier with a limp.
The plot of the story is a scene similar to Dancing with the Stars, but instead of stars, ordinary working class people as the contestants. The chemistry between Dane and Macy proves that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Macy is not model thin, she is soft, supple curves and one who wears an honest expression no matter what she is doing, in other words, she is real. The dialog is open, honest and raw, especially with some of the crude remarks made about Macy and how Dane handles it.
I first saw this story as part of an anthology and then was so happy when Ms. Deane decided to expand it and release it as it's own story!
I love it when "heroes" want something other than cookie cutter. I know that many books these days allow for the "non-traditional" heroine, but Ms. Deane does a really good job of showing us it's just just "he loved who she was inside" or "despite her size", but he was very attracted to her curves!! He wanted her, all of her, not "even though" she wasn't a skinny minnie, but he truly is turned on by her amazing body! And I love that. As a plus sized woman it's nice to have people to relate to and see in the spotlight not as someone overcoming "disability", but being celebrated for the beauty she is!
